Fresh, Sweet, Vegetal Infusion

This Japanese style sencha green tea is actually grown and produced in China, using the same processing methods as used in Japan.  An early-harvested green tea with a deep emerald green leaf which, on infusion, reveals a delicate, grassy flavour, with a somewhat astringent sweetness.  This is a wonderful example of a steamed processing green tea and can be reinfused several times.
